My students are especially wiggly and need options for seating. With the addition of the seating options I have requested, Students will be able to wiggle in their seats to help them to focus on learning. Traditional seating and classroom chairs do not offer the movement and flexibility of the stools and wiggle seats we'd like to have in our classroom. I love my students and their physicality and I want to give them every opportunity to succeed. The addition of these seats will give my students flexible seating options. I have requested 4 movement stools and 1 set of 6 soft seats that will give students a choice to sit in a chair with a soft seat, sit on the floor on a soft seat or sit on one of three different kinds of stools. Students are able to better focus during all subjects when they have seating options that allow for safe movement and lots of "wiggling". Our morning begins every day with students asking which seats are available to use. Students request seating alternatives that meet their need to move. They love the exercise balls and stools I've purchased with my own money, but we need more options for the variety of personalities in our class.
