Students grow their thinking through exposure to great literature. In order to make this happen, we need funding from generous donors. My classroom library needs a refresher. The books we have are low interest. My students crave reading engaging stories, but at a reading level they can comprehend. With this donation, students will be able to borrow from our classroom library books that they would not otherwise have access to. Students will engage in partner reading, independent reading, and books clubs. With the requested books, my students will have access to books that will encourage them to continue to develop a love for reading that will empower them to be life-long learners who seek to know and understand the world around them.
