With the learning rug project, my students will be able to get out of their desks and learn in different areas in the classroom. Being able to move around and learn in different areas of the classroom stimulates their brains and helps them learn the materials being taught. They will also be able to enjoy the learning rug during Daily 5 time for a stop to sit while reading to their buddies. This rug will have daily use as lessons will alway be taught here for Literacy, read alouds and story time. Having a rug in this school will show the students learning can be done in many different areas and not just in their desks all day. They will be going to many centers throughout the day, and this rug will be used for many different centers and whole group learning.
