My ELD/ ESL students are low-income recent immigrants to the U.S. learning English and trying to acculturate to their new world. The class of 25 has students from a wide variety of countries and cultures. They are of mixed ages and grade levels (9 through 12). These students are respectful, enthusiastic and eager to learn the language and to experience their new surroundings.
