Breakout boxes are a fun way to learn! Breakout boxes are like escape room challenges, but they are modified for a classroom. Students use their teamwork and critical thinking skills to solve a series of challenging puzzles in order to get to the locked box (the prize) before the countdown clock ends. They are also practicing their social skills by showing self-management, self-awareness and social awareness. Not only are breakout boxes great for review - they are wonderful for get-to-know-you games at the beginning of the year. It’s a great way to see what personalities each one of your new students has. Please help buy the things I would need to set up this amazing STEM activity for my kids.
