Hello! My name is Miss Byers, and I am about to begin my third year of teaching fourth grade. My students love coming to school because it is where they feel loved, cared for, and challenged in academics. I strive to make our class feel like a family. One of the ways I have created this environment is through our classroom motto and mascot. Our mascot is the buffalo, and our motto is "Be wise. Be kind. Be brave." Many of my students come from low income families or broken homes. I am proud to see them not only grow in academics throughout the year but character as well! I love my class!
