At a quick glance, people wouldn't be able to identify the difference between a child in special education and a child in general education. Special Education doesn't mean you are physically handicapped. My students suffer from ADHD. I teach in a lower income urban district, where most of my students are not given the necessary medication for ADHD, due to income restraints. Concentration is very difficulty for students with ADHD. They feel they need to move constantly and fidget with small items and in return, this causes a huge distraction for others in their class. These chairs would provide a way for their body to move with the chair and help to increase CONCENTRATION and productivity. Why not help them overcome one obstacle in their life, when there are so many?
