We have really struggled to get students to practice math at home to help continue to build on their skills. We have noticed that math fact fluency is a huge weakness in students overall and it comes into play with all math skills that we are doing. Trying to find a way to best address this deficit, we began to assign students math games instead of the traditional homework. It has had such a positive response from students and parents. Not only are students excited to play, it has brought families together for a game time while practicing the students basic math skills for 4th grade. The durable tote bags will help students be able to transport the games to and from their house with ease and not fall apart.
