My main goal as a Speech Language Pathologist is to instill confidence and knowledge into each of my students, meet each of them where they are to help them exceed their potential as lifelong learners and productive citizens.I hope to use this interactive monitor to help my students improve their social, communication and speech skills in a fun and interactive way. Most people take for granted their ability to verbally communicate, to express their wants and needs or to simply respond to questions. This interactive board will give my children the same abilities that others are born with. This interactive monitor allow up to six children to work at the same time. Students with special needs, such as learning, physical and cognitive disabilities may have trouble with auditory sessions and often require lessons that are more tactile, increased number and types of visuals, as well as the ability to learn at different paces.Fortunately, technology plays a key role in providing educators with the tools and skills to address the multiple modalities needed to for children with disabilities in the classroom.
