My goal is to provide a variety of seating for my students so they can move and wiggle while they work. Students should be given a chance to sit in the best place that meets their needs to enhance their learning throughout their day. The different seating styles that I have chosen will allow them the opportunity to chose one that will let them be most productive. I would lower 3 tables and provide comfortable cushions on the floor. I would have cushions on some seats for easy movement without the disruption. The Kore wobbly chairs and large balance balls will allow my kinesthetic learners to use their muscles along with their brains. Very few students these days are your standard learners that sit, listen and do their work. Many benefit from the ability to move while they listen. The different styles of seating arrangements I have chosen will give all my students a chance to do their best and enjoy the process of learning.
