As a rural school, my students are not close to a library and the books in our school library are limited to grade level only and interest. I had purchased a Choose Your Own Adventure book and read to the class. They loved it! Finding anything that captures their attention is difficult. So after reading this one, I would like to be able to give this to my class for them to have the opportunity to venture into reading themselves. Recently attending an Assistive technology for special needs presentation, I had learned about voice amplification and had the opportunity to try one and it was amazing the difference in listening to a presentation with it focused directly into the ear. I know most of my students struggle with attentional issues and having the ability to focus the attention directly to them and to be able to drown out the background noise will give them a boost in there education.
