My students need a place to gather together as a class for morning meetings and group activities. Having a Colors and Shapes Learning Carpet in my Kindergarten room will help my students practice routines, develop social skills, practice learning endurance, and learn how to work in a group or team. In Kindergarten, students must begin with the basics, like learning how to sit in an organized and routine fashion. The learning carpet will give them a structured space in which to learn, play, dance, create, and participate. This carpet will be an educational “game board” for learning! My students will be organized and structured for their group learning.
