Using the tablet, we will develop many different important skills. We could use it for reading, by having books that I created on video for students. During math, students can learn how to make connections with numbers and pictures. Students are still developing their fine motor skills, the manipulation of the tablet will help them to improve their grasp and coordination. I am the Spanish teacher to the pre-k students, and I can use the tablet to develop their listening and speaking skills in Spanish. Having a tablet in the class will help my students enhance their school experience. Many of my students are not exposed to technology since they are in a high poverty classroom, this will give them practice integrating technology into the curriculum.
