Hello! Our classroom is a dynamic mix of 1st grade students from all over the city of Chicago. We are a fully inclusive classroom, which means that ALL students, regardless of ability level, are part of our community. We are lucky to have two full-time teachers in our classroom, a Special Education teacher (myself) and a General Education teacher (my co-teacher). Our students are ambitious, charismatic, and kindhearted. They strive to not only make a difference in our school, but in our community as well. Our school district (Chicago Public Schools) is currently facing a budget crisis and we are having a difficult time providing the basics for our students. Any help is greatly appreciated by students and staff. Thank you in advance for your consideration!
