Our school has a limited number of Chromebooks to share. They are all at least three years old, and suffering from too many students using them. Often by the time we solve the problems of logging on, fixing the screen, and returning the home page to the default, our time is up. I just want to be able to use the technology and the free educational programs we can access to help my students succeed! My grade level partner and I would share these Chromebooks. Between us we have 54 fourth graders. A number of them do not speak English as their home language, and others have various specific learning needs. Many available, free programs will help our students move forward especially when we have more access to technology. All students must take standardized tests on Chromebooks. Any practice our students get will help them compete with students in more affluent communities.
