My students are 9th-12th grade public school magnet students from all over Southern California. They are as diverse ethnically and economically as they are academically and creatively. They are hard working and so excited to try something new. Last year I surveyed them to see who would be interested in trying an art class that involved computers. They went wild. The students at our school are high achievers and plan to go on to higher education. Over the ten years I have taught here I see the students consistently pushing themselves to get more experiences that they can take with them when they graduate. It would be an honor for me to offer them this additional opportunity for them to learn a new skill and express themselves creatively.
