These materials will be used to provide my students with hands-on learning centers for mathematics. My students are currently learning to recognize numbers 1-20 but, they often have difficulty if they are not provided with hands-on materials and tactile experiences. These math centers will allow for students to gain better number sense while feeling as if they are "playing" a game. They will learn essential math skills like number recognition and one-to-one correspondence all while having fun. Without these basic mathematical understandings, my students could lack the skills they will need for the rest of their educational careers. These centers will create for a more meaningful learning experience that will ensure a lasting impact on my students for years to come.
