As a certified teacher in Nearpod, all my classes are designed to be on the computer. Everyday each kid has his own computer to work on it as a book or notebook. This program allows me to give immediate feedback to them, use their work as a class example, etc. Also, it allows me to give them sentence frames to build completed sentences, recording my voice in the prompt, so each student will be able to listen it as much as they need. Moreover, in some presentations, I am using some videos, so they can listen with their headphones to it by themselves. This change in my class is helping the students a lot, because with the headphones they will be listening without bothering others. Also I am able to scaffold easily, making my level groups as soon as I check their answers in my computer, so I could assign specific listening activities for those kids. Finally, our school has some applications for helping students with reading and math, so they will be able to use their headphones to work on their own without bothering others too.
