To become "the fruit loops in a world of cheerios" and lead by being unique, talented individuals, our 8th graders need your help. Before our students move on to high school, we are hoping to instill in them healthy habits like eating breakfast, choosing healthy and nutritious snacks, drinking water, making sure water is safe and clean to drink, keeping our surroundings clean, and staying as organized as possible before they move towards future successes. With snacks we can stay full and healthy. With water bottles we can remember to put our own health as a priority. With water bottle filters we can make sure the water we are supplying to our students is fresh and filtered. With expo markers we will have brand new markers on hand to make sure we do not have any pauses in instruction while waiting to get more funding for supplies. With air fresheners we can keep our room smelling clean and fresh making it inviting every morning to students instead of musty because of the lack of fresh air. With organization sets we can make sure our students with classroom jobs can efficiently collect homework and papers from home to start building organizational habits every day. With a coffee maker we can make sure the various adults in the room, including the paras and para-coordinators (paras work 1-1 with children with specific needs as many of our students are classified as special ed). We can use your help.
