My school is a title I Community Learning school located in East Harlem. The children come from a community where the average income is below $10,000. I teach a Kindergarten- 1st grade self contained class. I have 12 students with multiple learning needs. I strongly believe all my students have the ability to learn, to function, to grow, and most importantly to succeed. My students are working hard to become independent readers, writers and mathematicians.
