Research throughout the years has proven physical activity and motion are essential to children's health and growth. Sitting in a 'regular' chair for long period of times can be difficult for some children and at times, even distracting. Wobble chairs are the perfect solution! While my students are permitted to stand if they so choose, many of them are ambivalent about doing so when no one else is. They allow students to move while they are sitting. How? The chairs swivel back and forth and from side to side. This allows them to be in motion in class while also being non-disruptive to the other students. As motion and activity are just as essential to children's growth as is their education, I would sincerely appreciate any donation.
