Youtube is full of thousands of wonderful science videos - from time lapse videos of seeds germinating to animations of why the moon appears to change shape. These videos further explain or demonstrate concepts we are studying. Watching videos and discussing them is one more way my students will enjoy learning about science. In addition, my students love to see themselves on the big screen. As we do our experiments, I will use the iPad mini to film key moments of the experiments or key insights that students have. I will play these back for the whole class to see and learn from. Students will be thrilled to see themselves on the white board.
