There is an urgent need to replace outdated technology in my classroom. An ELMO would be the perfect replacement for my document camera which is no longer compatible with the software on my computer. Having it in the classroom would allow me to project small manipulative for whole group and small group instruction during math class. This would free my students from crowding around a table, where they have a limited view of hands on demonstrations. Students will be able to share their written work with the class. Which would allow my visual learners to interact and engage in classroom lessons. An ELMO will also enhance student presentations in science and social studies.
