I am requesting learning center activities to help prepare my Pre-Kindergarten students for success in Kindergarten. We are in the process of making our Pre-K better by having centers that focus on specific subjects and are age appropriate. Right now I don't have many activities for my centers. I have two big tables, 10 storage cubes on a wall, and I have made lots of activities, but there is only so much that I can do. My students struggle the most with letter recognition and early numeracy skills. The learning center activities will help my students build a foundation to be successful in the future. My students need a listening center and audio books so that they can learn concepts of print while they listen to stories in small groups and have fun learning to read. They also need math and literacy activities for small group learning and center activities.
