Our low-income, high-poverty students would use this technology to be able to strengthen their abilities to enter the real world as adaptive humans. They'll be able to do research to explore learning and use various programs to differentiate their learning. Students will also be able to strengthen skills that are essential for our technologically-driven world. One major impact on our students is their ability to take various Standardized Tests online, a task that would be daunting for many, let along third graders with limited access to technology. Having a docking station for our laptops would mean easier access to these computers to exercise their knowledge of basic computer skills, as well as prepping them for this test.
