My class will benefit from using an Elmo Interactive Document camera tremendously. The Elmo will magnify small words and images for my visual learners. It will also help save our trees by decreasing the amount of paper being copied. Additionally, it will help incorporate technology into my classroom, which will aid in increased interactive learning by the students. By using the Elmo it will increase the students ability to engage with their peers during assignments. We can use the Elmo for reading text aloud, graphing data, using math manipulatives, class demonstrations, as well as showing photos, maps, and other visual aids. These benefits will ultimately increase their class and state test scores. It is very important to try to make a difference in my students lives and facilitate them to becoming valuable citizens. I believe the Elmo will give them the opportunity to increase their learning and move into the 21st century of learning.
