Stools, desk bands, and chair bands will provide the stimulation and movement necessary to sit quietly and listen or complete independent work. These materials will not teach my students new academic skills, but it will allow them to have the necessary movement without disrupting other students learning. Donations for this project will improve the quality of learning in my classroom by reducing behavioral issues, disruptions, and time off of tasks. This will allow students who normally are fidgety to move freely while they continue to focus on daily task. Students who are able to move freely without disruption will increase our learning and time on task. I look forward to watching my students blossom through movement.
