Most of my students require access to technology in order to effectively communicate their wants and needs. With the Kindle Fire, students will have individual access to internet and numerous apps that will aid in communication. My students will learn basic sign, view visual schedules, and be able to make choices on their own. This will help them become more independent. We celebrate their individual victories each day. Each student has the right to feel successful at school. Through the independent use of a Kindle Fire tablet, the students will be able to meet, and hopefully exceed, their communication goals.
