The carpet will allow my disabled students the opportunity to stretch out and get cozy while learning. It will allow my students to sit quietly, interact with peers, buddy reading, and engage in lessons more freely since some of my students are wheelchair bound and non-verbal. The carpet will not directly teach my students new skills, but allow for different types of learning and movement instead of sitting in one position for the entire day. Your generous donation will improve our 3-5 self contained classroom by allowing disabled students the chance to stretch out and get comfy while learning.
