The additional access to technology will provide the students with opportunities to enrich their learning in literacy and math. Our students are at varying levels and our school has purchased online programs such as I-ready for students to use. These programs assess the students periodically and adjusts to meet the student’s instructional needs. However, at this moment our classroom does not have enough technology to allow many students to work on these platforms efficiently. With more access to technology, students will be able to work on the skills that they need the most support in more often. With technology playing such a prevalent role in today’s society, students will have the opportunity to learn research skills, utilize word processors to publish their writing pieces, and create digital presentations with access to more technology in our classroom.
