My students are very special to me and are like my own children. Teaching in a high-poverty school has its challenges. Many of my students face difficult challenges at home and at school but they are eager to learn. Many of my students do not have access to technology at home and are eager to use technology at school. I want to provide my students with more opportunities to use technology. My goal is to provide a home away from home experience in my classroom. I strive to create a learning environment that is safe and secure. I want my students to feel loved and appreciated in all they do and to know that I will do all I can to provide them with the tools necessary to be successful.
