My students arrive in this country with so much on their plate; they do not understand the language, food, customs, school schedule, etc. They tend to bounce around the classroom with their pent up energy. These bouncy bands allow them to release all this energy while staying in their seats and remaining focused. As they yearn to learn they also need help focusing. Some of them have are living with relatives and their immediate families continue to stay in their native land. It is a lot that these children contend with day to day. A simple tool such as these bouncy bands can assist with their learning.
