In our classroom, stability balls and WOBBLE stools will be used to replace the traditional chairs in our flexible seating classroom. They will provide a way for many students to learn in a way that meets their individual needs. Students will be able to choose a stability ball, wobble stool, or another alternative seating spot when entering the classroom each day. Research shows that flexible seating supports collaboration, creativity, oxygen flow to the brain, focus, better behavior, information retention, core strength, and much more. This project will enhance our classroom by giving the students more choices on where they would like to learn and keep them engaged throughout the day.
