As my students develop into fluent readers, it is important that more than half of the texts they read are non-fiction. With your donation, you will be ensuring that we have enough appropriately leveled non-fiction texts to get into the hands of young readers. The non-fiction books that will be funded by this project are on topics that my students cannot read enough about! They are very interested in learning about animals, life cycles and more! These books will expose my students to on-level non-fiction texts early in their school career. It is also my hope that these books will show new interests and provoke curiosity among my students.
