By donating to my classroom, my students will be able to generate posters to demonstrate their understanding with the use of the post-it posters, markers, color pencils, and other color material. The pencils and paper will be used in daily note taking routines in the classroom. Often, I have let students demonstrate their work in other ways such as: chalk art or window art. Students show case their skills through the development of individual and group projects. Paint and modeling clay are excellent for making sculptures after completing a novel in class. Students like to pick symbols from the novel and make them out of clay. Washable markers and paint have been used in the past to make t-shirts that demonstrate the main idea or author's purpose of a novel.
