My kids all want the opportunity to go to college, but need the books and tools to help them get there! My 9th-11th graders (140 in all) are new to this country and speak very little English, I have just a couple of years to get them proficient enough to successfully take their exams, SAT or ACT and complete a college application! We are a very underfunded school in a high poverty area, so many of the tools we need are not available. I've been able to provide many things of my own, like my computer, but it is not quite enough yet. they need the books and technology in this project to create college preparatory work and develop college ready comprehension of literature and technology.
