The TI Rover will give students an authentic and engaging experience with a multitude of mathematical concepts. From algebraic functions to geometric shapes, the TI Rover is able to graph and draw based on how students code it. Not only will students be exploring the mathematical concepts required by our curriculum, but they will be learning 21st century skills through coding and programming. The TI Rover works in conjunction with the TI 84 CE calculator (which all students have access to already in the classroom). This will be an extension to a device that students are currently familiar with, and will serve as an extension to their technological (and mathematical) understanding. With our society being more technologically driven, our students deserve the opportunity to engage and explore with technology in a controlled and safe environment, as well as learning mathematical and 21st century skills.
