We need chapter books to read. I would love for them to have books that they actually enjoy reading! Our titles include Dork Diaries, Encyclopedia Brown, Goosebumps and more. I tell my students that reading is just like anything else. You have to keep practicing in order to get better. Most of my students are low income and cannot afford to buy books to read at home. I would love to get these books for them to read. A lot of children do not want to read because they say they do not like reading. I believe that is just because they haven't discovered which genre is their favorite. I would love these books for my classroom so the children will have access to books that they actually enjoy!
