With teaching comes many challenges, including different needs and ability levels. Some students are visual learners and need "hands-on" activities to help understand skills that are being taught. The use of technology will add additional, creative ways to engage children in learning throughout the curriculum. I feel my students could benefit from these Chromebooks because using them would enhance their learning and keep them motivated. In addition, students are now expected to complete tests on computers and are taught not only through direct teacher instruction, but also through district approved learning websites. Having access to computers will allow more practice for typing and test taking skills.
