Technology in the classroom is essential. As a teacher, I know it is important to provide hands-on, interactive lessons each day to keep students engaged. I like to achieve this through the implementation of online tools in the classroom such as Nearpod and Google Classroom, but these interactive sites require students to have access to a computer. Without enough Chromebooks, it is difficult to utilize these online platforms to aide students' learning in the classroom. I know how excited my students are to use Chromebooks in class, whether it is as a whole group, small group, or individually. Additional Chromebooks in the classroom would give my students more chances to participate. I want them to have every opportunity to use technology in order to enhance academics!
