In our art classroom, I use culture, community, and collaboration to guide learning. Many of the art lessons and artists that the students will be learning about have originated in different countries around the world. Students learn how art is applied daily in the real world and that art is all around them. I find it important that students develop creative thinking and problem solving skills in art that then can be integrated into other subjects.
