The use of a kidney table would have a daily use in my classroom, especially in math. Using the kidney table to model concepts in math, students will be able to be retaught concepts more effectively or the above learners will be able to go deeper in their learning of a concept. The kidney table will allow me to see exactly what the students are doing and help them with their understanding and misconceptions in a small group. Right now I try to walk around and help the students, but I don't have any where to help a small group that is struggling with the same concept. Even though they are great about doing this, it is distracting for many of my students who have focusing issues and they miss important instruction form either myself or other students. By having a kidney table, students will be able to avoid all of these problems and focus on increasing their learning! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement so that I will be able to do more small group instruction. Students will be able to come to the kidney table and get help on concepts that they are not understanding at it will not take away from other students learning or be a distraction.
