My students need an outlet to provide positive outcomes through artistic release. This includes a ROLAND BK5 Arranger Workstation, Avid Pro Tools, a Drum Controller with Software download, microphones and Pro Tools All-in-One For Dummies Book. We are looking to create a well produced, positive lyric compilation of music to strengthen students persistence, vocabulary, scholarly thinking, and engage others with common interest to network in an academic setting. Students will create an impactful change as to how our students are viewed, and also demonstrate their ability to lead in a positive way. We want to prove to our students that if they organize, network, and create an excellent product, then they will be able to market a hip hop oriented compilation of music in a positive framework, just as well as the industry markets negative steteotypes. Our students are talented, have many stories to tell, and will have a positive influence on those that follow by their example. As we continue to move forward on this journey, our students will also be exposed to the different skills and avenues they can't reach now.
