The addition of a Chromebook to my classroom will enable students to reach out into the vast world of the internet and harness all the great learning opportunities it possesses. We use Google Classroom to post and collect daily assignments and projects. Most of my students need to have access somewhere else besides the Computer Lab or Media Center. Having the device in my classroom will enable me to ensure all students have access to the appropriate learning materials at a time when they are ready to learn that skill or enhance/build on a skill they just learned. Knowing how to navigate through the programs on the computer or how to do an informed Internet search are skills that will enable them to succeed in their future endeavors!
