Students will be learning about clay and building their own project. Since we share a kiln for firing clay with another art teacher, we have close to 400 projects to fire. While our kiln is a fairly good size, we would need to do multiple firings for multiple classes. Using the "old school" method, students will create their project, let it dry, fire, glaze it and then fire it again. Using this method, we would be firing twice! The Stroke and Coat Glaze product we have requested allows us to skip the second firing! This saves us time and helps us to keep students intrigued in this learning process!
