My 5th grade math class needs four iPad minis for additional technology resources. Because we are not a Title I school, we are very limited in technology. My classroom currently has two desktop computers and a projector. Many of my students do not have access to current technology tools at home. Through the use of the iPad mini, my students will be able to strengthen skills in math during small groups as the iPad will be used for practicing math skills. They will be able to strengthen math skills in a fun and exciting way using different educational apps and websites in the iPad in small group settings. My using the iPad to build math skills, they are also getting to use current technology to build technology skills as well. The use of the iPad minis will greatly impact my wonderful fifth grade students.
