Hi everyone! My name is Miss Rodgers, and this will be my second year as a first grade teacher at Barnes Elementary in Owasso. First grade is a wonderful year filled with so much growth! As a first grade teacher I get to watch my students grow from beginning readers to fluent strong chapter book readers. This year I will be serving as a team leader for first grade, as well as serve our 4th and 5th grade friends as their robotics coach. I am so excited to see what the 18-19 school year will bring. I am looking forward to working with students of all ages, and creating life long learners in and outside of the classroom. Thank you for helping support my classroom.
