I LOVE books! I love reading books, I love incorporating books into my lessons, and most of all I love helping students develop a love for books. To me, it is crucial for students to develop this passion to ensure they become lifelong learners. I teach a 4th class filled with many ESL students in a rapidly growing school district which is quite honestly, having difficulty keeping up with the growth. Generally speaking, my students are hesitant readers and especially writers. I want reading and writing to be fun for these kids!
