As adults, even we struggle to sit in a meeting with a pen and paper in hand and learn something, so why make our students do it? I want my students to be able to visualize and physically be able to interact while learning. With so much energy built up and only twenty short minutes for recess, I have to find a way for my students to interact and move inside the classroom. With these materials, my students will be able to use these manipulatives to learn many different math skills such as place value, money, measurement, time, and many more without even picking up a pencil.
