Our classroom community focuses on loving one another and keeping each other safe. We take time out of every day to enjoy a snack together so that we can continue to build our fun loving family community. Students will not only get to eat these snacks during our meal times in class, but students will also be able to eat these snacks throughout the day when they need to. We believe that when a student is hungry and their basic needs are not being met, we give them a snack so that they can be at their best while they learn and grow their brains. Mealtime is a sacred time for many families around the world. Like many families, at our mealtime we share candid conversations about our day and how we are feeling. In order to keep that going in our kindergarten classroom, we are asking for this donation so that our classroom students, who predominately come from low socioeconomic backgrounds, can enjoy delicious snacks that will fuel their minds, bodies, and hearts.
